Tesco adds Blinkbox video streaming to its DVD purchases

While video streaming services get more and more popular there is still a big market for physical disks so Tesco’s new service is interesting. They have partnered with blinkbox to offer digital copies of purchased DVDs. When you buy a DVD from Tesco.com you get a digital copy at blinkbox which you can watch ay anytime. All you need is a Tesco Clubcard and then you can watch the video on a PC, games console or tablet (not the iPad as it uses flash). I noticed that not all titles have a digital copy but many of the recent releases do.

If your purchasing a DVD then this has to be a good incentive to get it from Tesco so you get the digital copy.
