Despite HP thinking about spinning of the PC division they are still making PCs and they have released new TouchSmart and consumer PCs. The all-in-one HP TouchSmart 520 (£599)  is added to the TouchSmart range and the HP Pavilion HPE Phoenix (£949) is HP’s most powerful consume PC . The TouchSmart machines make nice all in one Media Center systems and the new 23” would be nice running Windows 8.

  1. I think these All-In-One machines have great potential as a kitchen or guest computer. However, they are limited as a primary computer due to the inability to upgrade individual components. You can usually buy a better quality webcam and speakers for not much more money, for example, and of course if one component dies you’ll be without the use of your computer while you send it in for service.
