  1. I have a question for Brian Binnerup when he is on the show. The question revolves around pricing. To purchase all the points required to acquire the complete functionality in My Movies 4 amounts to $100US. This is an extreme amount to pay for a software application, in my opinion. I can’t help but think the pricing of the product is extremely elastic or should be given the nature of the product. Has there been any discussion within the company to consider what a change in price would do for sales? I, personally, have held off buying the software for a few years waiting for a deep discount, significant reduction in price, or some other promotion that would bring the product within my value range. I have not used the free version since v2 as I prefer a paid solution. I do occasionally visit the MyMovies website, read the change log, and am aware of the different ‘modules’ within the complete package. I simply adore the product, but not at the current price level to receive complete functionality. Any thoughts Brian or the team has on this would be greatly appreciated.

  2. I agree with eric. The main problrm with my movies is his ‘full’ price. You can have all the same feature with mediabrowser for free, even more if you donate 5 bucks. And it’s even more customable.
You can earn point by adding movies but everyone doesn’t have a full collection of dvd/blu-ray at home. So, and i guess it’s the same for eric and other mediacenter addict, either we’re stuck with MB (wich works fine btw), either we do sell a kidney to have full mymovies features unlock.
Do they plan to keep their pricing the same way?

Ps : sorry for my bad english, i’m french …
