Unfortunately I didn’t get to catch up with Niveus while at CES but today they have announced a new SIRIUS XM plugin for Niveus boxes:

Customers can now enjoy PREMIUM SIRIUS INTERNET RADIO using a proprietary Niveus SIRIUS XM plug-in to Windows 7 Media Center
Fremont, CA – Jan 12, 2010 – Niveus Media is pleased to announce the launch of the new Niveus SIRIUS XM plug-in, giving customers access to more than 120 channels of Premium SIRIUS Internet Radio, including premier sports analysis, news, talk and entertainment, and commercial-free music, on all 2010 Niveus Media Servers/Players. The SIRIUS XM plug-in provides customers with a convenient way to enjoy their favorite SIRIUS XM Premium Online content using Niveus Media Servers/Players.
The face of the new SIRIUS XM plug-in is the powerful Niveus User Interface. Borrowing design aspects from the award-winning Niveus Movie Library, each SIRIUS XM channel is represented by a “Logo Card.” These logo cards are assembled into a high-definition gallery of SIRIUS XM channel logos, delivering an unmatched user experience. In addition to an easy-to-navigate gallery, users can save their favorite channels on their Niveus system, just like SIRIUS XM subscribers can with satellite radios.
The new Niveus SIRIUS XM plug-in is an integral part of the Niveus Entertainment Experience, allowing customers to enjoy Premium SIRIUS Internet Radio without the need to purchase additional hardware or software. The bundled plug-in is also Niveus ZONE friendly, allowing users to listen to SIRIUS XM’s Premium Online content in multiple rooms of the house.
