A new TV that has the BBC iPlayer built in been launched in the UK. The iViewer from Cello is available in 26 and 32 inch models priced at £399 and £499 and is being sold at Marks and Spencer in the UK. As well as BBC content other internet content is available including Youtube. Interestingly they say that the TV can be remotely upgraded by Cello to support HD when the BBC starts broadcasting in HD although the BBC iPlayer has HD content on it already so I am not sure if that will work
What do you think? A good idea to have internet connections build in to a TV or is it better to have a PC connected?
