I was impressed with Silicon Mountain’s All in one LCD TV-PC when I saw it at CES (see this video) and in the video they mentioned the lower spec atom unit was coming. EngadgdetHD are reporting that Silicon Mountain have launched the atom based Allio Lite unit with a 42 or 32 inch display, Atom 330 processor, 250GB drive, 2GB of RAM and Windows Vista Home Premium. It would make a nice Media Center system and prices start at $1,299

  1. I must admit I do like these. But for a Living Room not very pratical (well not for our home).

Ian, did you get to see Toshiba’s Gesture Controlled setup whilst at CES? This with Media Center in your front room really would look the biz!

  2. It would have made better sense if they built Media Extender (MCX) technology into these units instead. There is no reason to buy two or more of these if one can’t stream Live TV from the other.
