One of the big things at CES is netbooks, and the big trend is towards “beefier” netbooks capable of running more modern OS’s. Sony have released details of a netbook they’ve been teasing the world with for weeks. The new netbook fits inside an envelope and looks super cool, with a Black Onyx cover.
Specs are sexy with a 8” LED Super wide screen(1600 by 780 so HD ready), 128gb SSD, Wireless 802.11n, GPS, Bluetooth, Webcam, 1.33 GHZ processor, 2gb RAM and running Vista Home Premium….did I say netbook, that’s a better spec than the laptop I’m writing this on!
Price point for the UK looks to be rather more fullscale than netbook at £599. I want one! Is this the smallest device capable of running Media Center yet?
