Gizmodo have a nice video showing off Windows Media Center in Windows 7 being controlled by touch. This feature must be disabled in the PDC version as I couldn’t get it to work in my Q1. The UI looks very smooth and the scrolling reminds me of how HP’s TouchSmart UI works.

WOW, that looks awesome! The audio’s really interesting, it’s all very “custom installers want this” so we did it. I find the fact that they want touch to be really interetsting, I can see the scenario of dual displays in the Living Room comming along from custom installers.

Tried doing the Blue Collar hack as that turns a bunch of the touch features on on supported devices, including some of the gesture stuff.
I did try that and that enabled the touch stuff in Windows but not in Media Center
