Gizmodo have a nice video showing off Windows Media Center in Windows 7 being controlled by touch. This feature must be disabled in the PDC version as I couldn’t get it to work in my Q1. The UI looks very smooth and the scrolling reminds me of how HP’s TouchSmart UI works.

I can’t wait to try this out it looks really good

  1. WOW, that looks awesome! The audio’s really interesting, it’s all very “custom installers want this” so we did it. I find the fact that they want touch to be really interetsting, I can see the scenario of dual displays in the Living Room comming along from custom installers.

  2. Tried doing the Blue Collar hack as that turns a bunch of the touch features on on supported devices, including some of the gesture stuff.
