Over the last week I have noticed that there was no guide data on my Media Center PC for ITV1 (Granada), at first I thought it was a problem with my PC so re scanned the TV signal and setup the guide again but still I had no data. I tried editing the guide to add ITV1 data to the channel but that didn’t work wither. So in the end I did a trick that i used a couple of years ago when having guide data problems, In the guide setup I entered my postcode as a London postcode and after a scan the data for ITV1 was back. Some other channels like Film4 have now lost there guide data but I can handle that. It turns out that I am not the only one with the problem. So far I am not sure who is at fault but it’s very annoying when your series records fail due to the data not being available.

I’ve noticed that the recent updates have added a use unlisted transmitter as an option, I use that and so far no issues.
