Microsoft have recently started testing Apple iCloud integration into Windows 11’s photo app. With the updated app you can browse your iCloud stored photos directly from the Windows 11 photos app. You can move or copy them over to your OneDrive or local PC.
In this video I show how to get started and what you can do with iCloud photos integration in Windows 11. Microsoft are currently testing this with Windows Insiders on the dev channel, you can find out more about being a Windows Insider here. If you are not a Windows Insider, then you can wait until Microsoft releases the feature.
To get started download and install Apple’s iCloud app from the Microsoft Store and then sign in with your Apple account. Then you should see the iCloud Photos section in the Windows 11 Photo app (currently only if you are a Windows Insider on the dev channel).
