The Windows 11, 22H2 update has taken one step closer to release as Microsoft have pushed out the update to Windows Insiders on the Release Preview Channel and for Windows Insider Program for Business.

The update is available via what Microsoft calls its “seeker” experience in Windows Update. Windows Insiders on the Release Preview Channel can go to Settings, Windows Update and select the optional Windows 11, version 22H2 update. This willl download and install the new version of Windows 11.

22H2 introduces lots of new features into Windows 11 including Start menu folders, new touch gestures, windowing improvements, and File Explorer improvements. The update will go out to normal Windows 11 users later this year, my guess is around September. Checkout my guide to what’s new in Windows 11 22H2.
