Microsoft have released the December 2021 update for Surface Duo 2. As well as the normal monthly Android security this month Microsoft have included a raft of improvements and new features. Amongst the changes are camera improvements, new animations, Bluetooth and Android Auto. Plus there are also new pen features and settings.

For the system there are improvements to reliability and stability. The new settings Microsoft have added are the option to choose the default screen when folder and to choose preferences for answering the phone calls when folder.

Microsoft have also added new animations including app launch animations. There are also touch responsive improvements, camera improvements and improved support for LDAC enable Bluetooth devices.

Also added the ability to launch OneNote when clicking the top button on a Surface Slim Pen.

Enabled launching of OneNote when clicking the top button on Surface Slim Pen. Requires Surface Slim Pen to be paired with Surface Duo 2.

Enabled in Surface Duo features, in Settings, to choose the default screen when folded.

Enabled in Surface Duo features, in Settings, to choose preferences for answering phone calls when folded.
