Microsoft have finally enabled the Android subsystem for Windows to run on Windows 11 devices on the dev channel. This enables Windows Insiders on the dev channel to run Android apps just as devices on the beta channel have been able to do for a few weeks. At the moment its US only and with a limited set of apps from the Amazon app store but the rollout should be expanded in the future.

As you can see in my video I was able to switch regions and sideload Android apps on my device without issues. I have found it useful for smart home apps like Arlo and Philips Hue.
