October 5th is Windows 11 release day and Microsoft have made available all the installation media needed for the new OS. As well as being able to upgrade Windows 11 via Windows Update (if you’re on a supported device) Microsoft have various methods available now:
Windows 11 Installation Assistant
This downloads an install tool for you to upgrade the PC you are currently using
Create Windows 11 Installation Media
This enables you to create Windows 11 installation media for use on another device via bootable USB or DVD
Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO)
This enables you to download an ISO for installing Windows on virtual machines and making your own media
