Today at Microsoft’s what’s next event Microsoft announce new and updates Surface devices. As well as the Android based Surface Duo 2 (see my other post) Microsoft also announced new Windows 11 based devices:
Surface Go 3
The updated Surface Go 3 has a 10th gen Intel processor which Microsoft say is 60% faster than the old device. Other than the processor bump it looks just like the Go 2. I still use my original Surface Go, the form factor is great for using as a tablet.
Surface Laptop Studio
Microsoft new flagship device is the Surface Laptop Studio. With 14.4-inch display, haptic trackpad, Surface Studio style pull forward screen and 11th gen Intel processor and dedicated graphics card.
Surface Pro 8
The new Surface Pro 8 has Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, quad-core 11th gen Intel Processor, 120hz display and works with the new Surface Slim Pen 2. The form factor is the same as the Surface Pro 7 but with two Thunderbolt ports.
Pricing and availably
All devices will be available to order October 5th, price should be available once the pre-order pages go up.
