Today Microsoft have released the latest update to Windows 10 called the Windows 10 May 2021 Update (code named 21H1). This release is a minor update to Windows 10 which you can ready about on my guide to the Windows 10 May 2021 Update.
In the future Microsoft will be pushing out as an automatic update but for now the update is available to what Microsoft call “seekers”.
So how do you get the Windows 10 May 2021 Update?
The first step is to go to Settings and click on Update & Security
Click on Check for updates
Then look for the banner that says Feature update to Windows 10, version 21H1
Click on Download and install and then Windows will download the update. Once downloaded it will ask you to reboot and once rebooted your system is up and running. If you don’t see the Download and install option it means your system is not ready for the update yet.
