Microsoft have rollout out the first monthly patch for the Surface Duo. The patch which is rolling out for unlocked devices includes the October 2020 Android security updates and stability improvements, touch improvements and improved calling:
Addresses scenarios outlined in the Android Security Bulletin – October 2020.
Improves call stability and experience.
Improves touch stability.
Improves Facebook Messenger single screen experience when launching by clicking on Facebook chat bubble.
Improves device stability.
The update is 113MB in size and as with most Android device this is a quick system install to install.
I have only had the Duo for a couple of days so I will be interested to see how this improves the experience.
