Yesterday at the Microsoft 365 developer day Microsoft revealed details of its new operating system Windows 10X. Microsoft say Windows 10X is for dual screen devices like the new Surface Neo but I think this is about the future of Windows. As well as some great demonstrations Microsoft also released an emulator of the Surface Neo with Windows 10 designed for developers to start testing their apps but also great for us to learn more about 10X.
In this video I take my first look at Windows 10X via the emulator and see how the OS looks. I know it’s only a developer preview but it is great to take a first look at the new operating system. I look at the new user experience, some of the apps and how dual screens are going to work with Windows 10X.
