Microsoft are to start rolling out its new Edge browser to Windows Insiders on the Release Preview ring. The new Chromium based browser will be replacing the old version of Microsoft Edge eventually, currently you have to manually install the new version and this is the first time Microsoft will be delivering the browser automatically. The new version replaces the old Edge once installed.
I have been using the new browser for months and had no compatibility issues and I have never needed to switch to old Edge or Google Chrome. The new browser used the open source Chromium engine and so its fast than old Edge and has improved compatibility with web standards.
