Head of the Windows Insider team Dona Sarkar is to leave the Windows Insider team for a new role in the Microsoft Developer Relations team focusing on Microsoft’s Power Platform (Microsoft Flow, PowerApps and Power BI). Donna took over from three years ago from Gab Aul and has overseen many additions to the Windows Insider Program with regional development project and other projects around the world.
The change means that the Windows Insider program does not have a leader at the moment, and Microsoft say they are searching for a new leader of the program. What that means for the Windows Insider Program remains to be seen. They are have been many Insiders looking for a more technical focused approach to the Insider program to bring it back to its roots.
