One of the pit falls of testing Windows Insider builds of Windows 10 is that sometimes things break, and one thing that has broken on my Surface Go (and other people have had the same issue with other devices) is adding Bluetooth devices.

Normally you can go to Settings, Devices and then click on the + button labelled “Add Bluetooth or other device”

When you click on the button you should get a dialog box asking what kind of device you want to add:

However on my Surface Go running 20H1 the button does nothing so I can’t add any Bluetooth devices to the my Surface. Fortunately, there is a workaround until Microsoft fix the issue.

Go to Control Panel and select Network and Sharing Center.

Then click on View network status and tasks.

Click on Change Adapter settings

Right click on Bluetooth Network Connection

Click on View Bluetooth Network Devices

Make sure your Bluetooth device is in pairing mode.

Click on Add a device and then you should see you device ready to pair

Click on the device and you should be ready to go.

This worked for my and is a solution until there is a fix from Microsoft.
