Microsoft have updated the beta Windows Mixed Reality addin for SteamVR. It’s only a week since the last update and this time Microsoft have added some automatic settings which should improve the playability of VR games. The version 1.0.582 now turns on and off motion reprojection faster depending on the resources available to the system so games should play smoother.

It also fixes issues with Fallout 4 VR and Battlezone

Windows Mixed Reality for SteamVR Beta has been updated to 1.0.582. This build contains the following changes:

“Auto” Motion Reprojection will transition from 45hz back to 90hz sooner when it detects that the application is capable.

“Auto” Motion Reprojection will turn off sooner when it detects an application is unable to run at 45 FPS or above.

Add NoInterEyeRotation exceptions for Fallout 4 VR and Battlezone.

Recent betas have increased default resolutions and it is recommended that you adjust supersampling settings to get optimal performance.
