To control my central heating I use Hive Active Heating which gives me control over my homes temperature from inside or outside the home. Hive have just launched Hive Radiator Valves so you can individually control each room in your home.
The valve fits on an existing radiator and then you can control the temperature from the Hive app, you can also set specific schedules for each radiator so you have full control over the room. You don’t have to have Hive Active Heating, without the main system you can control the temperature of the room but with the complete system you can control the boiler schedule as well.
Hive say you unscrew your existing TRV head and replace it with the Hive valve. The valves cost £54 each and there have multiple pack discounts available. More information on Hive’s site.
