The April 2018 Windows 10 update introduced support for custom environments in Windows Mixed Reality. This means you can create your own homes limited only by your imagination (and 256mb file size), to give you an idea of what you can do I have created some custom environments for you.

Feel free to download and use the environments, you can edit them in tools like Paint 3D if you want to customise them. Once you have download the GLB file to: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\EnvironmentsApp_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState . With the file in the folder you can now fire up Windows Mixed Reality, click on the Places button and select the name of your GLB file. Windows Mixed Reality should then take you to your custom environment where you can add objects, app and walk around just as you can with the Cliff House and Skyloft

River Side

I created this one so that I could place pictures outside of the rooms in the Mixed Reality Portal. Once you have switched to the river side environment you can use the Pictures app to place your own relaxing images around the house.

This is a lightweight environment.

The Garden

After a hard day playing Space Pirate Trainer or Minecraft, you may want to relax in a virtual garden. This model gives you a multi-level garden with pond, stonewalls and trees. You can add your own plants and trees via the Holograms app.

This is a large model so is slow to load up.

Matrix Construct

How about being part of the Matrix? This is a very lightweight model based on the Matrix Construct, with just two chairs and a table you can place apps and games in the environment.

The Stadium

This is a large stadium sized arena that you can place objects on the floor you can also go and walk around the stands (you can even get on the roof). Ideal if you want your own stadium to watch the football.

This is a lightweight environment.
