Back in October Microsoft entered the VR market with OEMs like Acer, Dell, Lenovo and Samsung releasing Windows Mixed Reality headsets. In November Stream added support for Windows Mixed Reality via SteamVR opening up the platform for a wide range of games. While the Windows Mixed Reality is more than just games Steam’s December survey gives us a good indication of WMR’s popularity among the Steam community.

In December Windows Mixed Reality accounted for 4.35% of SteamVR use a big increase from 1.96% in November. Considering SteamVR only added support mid-November this is a pretty good showing and I expect to see it continue to grow.
