USB 3.0 Hub with Gigabit Ethernet port

If you have a laptop with USB C port on it you are probably going to want some kind of USB hub so you can plug in multiple USB type B devices. The ICZI Hub I am looking at is not only a USB 3.0 hub it also has a Gigabit Ethernet port. As most laptops with USB-C don’t have network ports the addition of the network port is really handy.

You can have three USB devices connected at once, I tested it with a USB mixing desk, mouse and keyboard and all devices worked fine. The device is light and could be easily thrown into a bag when traveling.

The USB C Hub works with any USB C laptop eg Apple MacBook(12inch, 2015), Google ChromeBook Pixel(2015), MacBook pro(2016), Dell XPS and costs £16.99 on Amazon. Here is the hub in action:

  1. Thanks for the review, Ian. Good to know it seems pretty stable. We’ve all been bitten by bad USB hubs over the years. Stable hubs make these laptops with few ports more worthy, for sure. So far I’ve stayed away from those laptops with only 2 ports to handle power, input devices, and video.
