In August Microsoft rolled out the Windows 10 Anniversary Update that introduced new features like Windows Ink, an updated start menu and a much improved Action Center. Once the update was released it immediately rollout out to devices like the Surface Pro 3 & 4. A few days later I noticed that recently released machines like my Dell XPS 15 picked up the new build but some older devices still haven’t picked up the update.

ZDNet say that in the small print of an email about the rollout Microsoft say that the update will be completed within 3 months of release which makes it the beginning of November. While all my devices are up to date most of them are on the Windows Insider Program so they are picking up fast ring builds. I noticed that my wife’s 12 month old HP Laptop hasn’t got the update yet.

Do you have the Anniversary Update yet?
