When you have an expensive phone you want a case not only to protect it but you want it to look and feel good in the hand. Microsoft doesn’t make cases for the Lumia 950 and 950 XL instead they commissioned Mozo to make cases for the devices.
Mozo make a selection of case for the Lumia 950 and 950 XL and the one that MobileFun.co.uk sent me to review is leather flip cover. Unlike some of the cases for the 950 you don’t have to remove the back for this case to work as it sticks to the phone via an adhesive strip on the inside of the case. This means it is a bit tricky to fit the phone as it doesn’t clip in and you have to line it up yourself and it took me a few goes to get it right. The case is real leather and has that nice leather smell to go with it. I don’t like cases that add to the thickness of the phone and this case fits very snuggly to the phone and doesn’t add to the bulk of the phone.The leather is nice and soft and there is a magnetic catch which keeps the cover closed.
The case can also store credit cards (2 slots) and be used as a stand for the phone in landscape mode. NFC and wireless charging work through the case with the cover closed, with it folded back it charges (just) so I can still use my wireless charger in the car.
The case comes in brown or black and is an elegant cover for the 950 XL. The case costs £23.99 from Mobilefun.co.uk.
