Sonos may not be planning to develop a universal Windows app but a preview of a 3rd party alternative app is available. Phonos has been around for a while on Windows Phone is now available for Windows 10. The app works on PC and phone, as it’s a preview not all features are available yet.
The developers want user to test network scanning and how well the new layouts work on their devices. Currently not available features are:
No Group editing
No device volume control
No control over shuffle, repeat, like, etc, though there are buttons (that do nothing)
No Search
The Queue list is very incomplete
