Just in time to get your Christmas entertainment sorted out is a new build of Emby Server. This release has improved Chrome transcoding that reduces the CPU unitisation when using Chrome, if you are using h264 there will be no video transcoding needed. The web client has a lot of changes under the hood which should improve the performance in the browser. There are also Linux package improvements.

I have just switched to Emby from Plex purely due to its integration with Kodi. So far so good!
