One of my five recommended alternatives for Windows Media Center is Plex a media server with a wide range of client apps. The universal Windows app has just been updated with a range of fixes. Version 2.1.1.3 improves music stability, has improved performance and other minor improvements.

If you are looking for an alternative for Windows Media Center in Windows 10 Plex is well worth having a look at (as are my other picks).

The app is available from the Windows Store.
