The Windows 10 Mobile version of Groove has been updated again this time actually adding new features. You can now filter by genre so you view your music by your chosen style, hopefully the desktop version will get this feature soon as well as its something missing from the app. Other changes include when searching for music in your collection and then if you don’t find what you are looking for you can continue your search in the Windows Store. There is also an option to view featured music in the Explore hub.
The changes are rolling out now, here are the details from Microsoft:
A new update will be available later today for the Groove app on Windows 10 Mobile. This release (version 3.6.1326.0) includes minor bug fixes and improvements.
· Filter by genre to browse particular styles of music
· Easily continue your search in the Windows store for things you don’t find in your music
· Check out new and featured music in the Explore hub
