We all want to know the sunrise and sunset times don’t we? Well ok it may not be the most critical information but it’s nice to know the time the sun will rise and set and have the info within easy reach on your wrist. There is a new app for the Microsoft Band that adds a tile to the Band that shows the sunrise, sunset, moonrise, moonset and moon phase as your current location. The app runs Windows Phone and refreshes the tile on the Band when the phone talks to the Band, it automaticity changes the data dependent on your time zone and location.

Get daily sun and moon data for your location sent to your Microsoft Band. The custom band tile displays sunrise, sunset, moonrise, moonset and current moon phase as well as illumination percentage. All data provided by the US Naval Observatory.
