One of my new favorite apps for the Microsoft Band is Music Band an app that enables you to control music playback from the Band and pushes now playing notifications back to the Band when a track changes. The app has just been updated and it now supports playlists. Due to the limitations in the SDK the Band can only control playback of the Windows Phone Music Band app so that means it won’t play the protected Xbox Music Pass tracks but it will play albums, songs and playlists stored on your Windows Phone.
