Microsoft have released a new build of Windows 10 for Insiders to try on PCs. Build 10122 is available now on the fast ring and in an unusable step Microsoft yesterday ask for feedback whether this build should be released due to issues with Microsoft Edge / Project Spartan crashing on devices with AMD GPUs. The community spoke and said Microsoft should release this build anyway and anyone with an AMD GPU could switch to the slow ring to avoid this build.

With this release we see more of the features shown off a Build with improvements in the Start menu and continuum. There are now context menus on the start menu and the File Explorer and Settings buttons have been moved around. Continuum improvements give you larger tiles in tablet mode and a collapsed left hand pane, with the previous builds I didn’t find the tablet expensive that great so I am keen to give this build a try.

Microsoft Edge (what was Project Spartan) has the New Tab Page shown off at Build which features content from MSN and is customizable. Also added is InPrivate mode, animated reading mode, audio indicator and the ability to pin websites is back!

There are plenty of fixes in it, lots of Edge browser crash fixes, fixed high DPI issues and the issue of graphics drivers being offered and then failing during install has been fixed.

You can read the full details on the Windows Blog and download the new build via Windows Update.
