Last week a new app for controlling the Windows Phone camera from the Microsoft Band was released, Band Camera Control used Contana to remotely trigger the phone’s camera. When the app was first released it didn’t work if you had UK English as your default language, I contacted the developer and today he has updated the app supporting UK English ready for the UK release of the Band next week. So with the app you can say via the Microsoft Band “Camera Take a Photo” and it will then remotely trigger the Windows Phone camera app.
