Microsoft have released a preview of Outlook for Android and iOS bringing Exchange, Office 365, Outlook.com, iCloud and Gmail support. The app has which is based on the Acompli app that Microsoft acquired last year has some nice features like a “Focus” view that highlights important emails and actions like swipe left to delete and swipe right to schedule a message. There is also full calendar support, OneDrive and Dropbox support and a fast search.

My initial impressions are are that it looks a good email tool and I am going to use that full time for all my email on Android and iOS. It’s a preview at the moment so there are a few bugs that is to be expected.

The Android version is free from the Google Play Store and the iPhone and iPad version in the iTunes Store.
