To send images from my Android devices to my Xbox One or DLNA player I use AllCast, it enables sending of content to Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Xbox One, Roku and other DLNA devices. The apps works really well on Android and has just been launched for iOS.
With the app you can send photos, music and videos from your iPhone or iPad to a Chromecast, Apple TV, Xbox One, Roku or other DLNA renderers. After installing the app you have to give it access to your media and once you have done that you can send content to one of the supported devices, I was able to send to my Xbox One without any issues. It can stream from the local device, Google+, Instagram, Dropbox or media servers on your network.
The app is free from the iTunes Store with an in-app purchase that removes splash screens, advertisements and removes limits on video length.
