Updated Sky app for iOSSky

Sky released an update for the Sky+ app today adding an interesting new feature. You can now send photos stored on your tablet or phone to the TV via the Sky+ HD box. Both the Android and the iOS version have the feature and it makes for a nice easy way to get your photos onto the big screen. Other changes in the app include an update home page that replicates what is on your Sky+ HD box, an easy way to select HD formats of on demand content and improved accessibly voice over support.

What would be good if Sky enables streaming of content stored on the Sky+ box to a tablet running the Sky+ app.

The iOS app is available from the iTunes Store and you can find the updated Android app in the Google Play Store.

What’s New in Version 5.0

View photos from your phone or tablet on the TV if you have the latest software update on a compatible Sky+HD box.

** We’re aware of an issue with the iPhone 6 Plus when running iOS8.1. We apologies for any inconvenience this has caused and thank-you for your patience whilst we work on a fix. **
