Last month Sonos dropped the need for having a dedicated Sonos Bridge to have Sonos devices on your network so you can use your existing WiFi for music streaming. However if you have poor quality WiFi then you are going to want to look at Sonos’ new product. The new Sonos BOOST connects to your router and then creates a dedicated WiFi network for your Sonos devices giving you the solid network you need for reliable music streaming. Sonos say the BOOST is twice as powerful as BRIDGE which is their other WiFi device which currently retails for £39, the BOOST will be around £79 when it is available in the UK.
