Last month Sonos removed the need for a dedicated Bridge device and Sonos devices can now use your existing WiFi. Today Sonos announced the new Sonos BOOST a new dedicated WiFi device designed to be a dedicated network so you get reliable music streaming and the mobile apps have just been updated for the new device.
The iOS and Android apps now support the BOOST so you can setup and control your Sonos network from the apps. The Android app can be found in the Google Play Store and the iOS app in the iTunes Store, now we just need a Windows Phone version.
