Channel 4’s TV streaming service 4oD is to be replaced by an all new service call All 4 next year. All 4 will divide the TV streaming apps into On Demand, Now and On Soon sections. On Demand will have Channel 4’s catch up content and archived shows, it will also have related programme info and on-demand content.
The Now section will have live streaming of Channel 4’s TV channels currently broadcasting, social media and video clips. The On Soon section will have programme clips and promotions of new TV shows and you can set reminders and alerts. If you register and sign into the server you will get personalised recommendations.
The service will roll out to PCs and iOS devices first Q1 2015 and then it will roll out to other platforms later in 2015.
