Sky have released a NOW TV app for the PlayStation 4 brining its pay TV channels to the games console. NOW TV is a subscription free, pay as you go service and with the app you can get content from Sky Movies, Sky Sports and Sky TV.
You don’t have to subscribe to get the content, you just pay for what you want to watch. NOW TV is available for the Xbox 360 and was announced as an app for the Xbox One during its launch but hasn’t turned up yet. I wonder what has happened to it? I checked on the app list at Xbox.com and it still says coming soon.
From today NOW TV becomes available to all PlayStation®4 (PS4™) owners as the internet streaming service from Sky arrives on the console. The service has been available on Playstation®3 since May 2013.
Offering a flexible way to watch the latest blockbuster movies, live action from all six Sky Sportschannels and must-see shows on 10 of the best pay TV channels including Sky 1, Sky Atlanticand Sky Living; adding PS4™ gives customers yet another way to watch.
With the NOW TV Entertainment Month Pass customers can see the hottest shows around in July, including Silicon Valley (Sky Atlantic), Geordie Shore (MTV), 50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy (Sky 1),Nikita (Sky Living) and the return of Got to Dance (Sky 1). Plus, they can also watch all previous seasons of Ray Donovan and Scandal, right from the very start before brand new episodes air this month.
Movie fans can enjoy over 800 movies with their Sky Movies Month Pass, from big Hollywood blockbusters to cult classics and top independent films, for just £8.99 a month after a 30 day free trial. Get unlimited access to the very latest films including The Wolverine, Kick Ass 2 and Captain Philips, with Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, Gravity, Thor: The Dark World and Saving Mr. Banks joining this August.
Sports fans can keep up with the biggest matches and events with the Sky Sports Day Pass. Watch live action from all Sky Sports channels for just £9.99 for 24 hours. The Pass means you will never miss a moment of the action this summer including the return of the Barclays Premier League, Football League season, UEFA Super Cup, PGA Championship, the US Open, Formula 1™ and the Ryder Cup in September.
