Media Browser is a fantastic centralised media server system with clients for Android, Windows Media Center, Windows Phone and others and now there is a new client app for the iPad. The app enables browsing of local media and supports streaming over Wifi and 3G/4G. It also will also work as a remote control for the system plus it has cover art, backdrops and meta-data from your media collection.

The free server is available from MediaBrowser.tv and the app costs £2.49 from the iTunes Store.

  1. Cannot wait to try this out, the web client for MB3 alone is great on an iPad but the app looks superb.
