In my previous video I setup a Vidabox LivvNAS server on my home network and had it connected up to a Dune HD so I could stream movies from it. In this video I use a Raspberry Pi as a media extender running XBMC (the OpenELEC build) and use the Drop-n-Rip Archiving addin on the LiivNAS to convert the movies into a format the Raspberry Pi can play. Out of the box a Raspberry Pi will not play Blurays and in this video you can see how you can do it with the NAS box.

The Raspberry Pi costs £29 and makes a great media player especially when paired up with a NAS devices like the Vidabox LiivNAS.
