Microsoft have released an update to the Windows Store version of Skype adding syncing of favourites between devices. Prior to the update your favourites where not stored with your account so you have to recreated your favourites on each Windows device. The update means your favourites are now linked and you only have to set them up once and they are synced between Windows 8.1 devices. Hopefully the Android, iOS and Windows Phone versions of the app will be updated so they can have the synced favourites as well.
The app also has a tweaked UI with a more room for your contact list.
