VideoLabs have updated the Android VLC releasing the 20th beta of the app. This is a pre-release version of the app as they get close to the final version and the update (0.9.3) fixes audio crashing issues. VLC will play almost all video and audio formats from local storage as well as network streams.

The app is free from the Google Play Store.

Fourth prerelease of VLC for Android (20th Beta)

This 0.9.0 version is major release with hardware decoding and a new interface available in dark or white colors. 0.9.2 gives DVD iso support. 0.9.3 fixes an audio crash.

Hardware acceleration is now enabled by default on 4.3+ and has better subtitles support. Software decoding has been accelerated too.

This release features now an equalizer, playlist management, Widi screens support and fixes some audio bugs on 2.3 and SD cards misdetections.
