Microsoft have updated the Windows 8.1 Xbox Video app and this time there are release notes! The updated app gives you the option of selecting HD or SD quality when downloading purchased TV shows or movies so if you have a small device (like the Toshiba Encore 8) you don’t use up all your disk space but on devices with plenty of space you can go for quality. There are also featured sets which are curated lists of Films and TV shows so its easier to find content.
There are also the usual bug fixes and improvements in the app which you will find in the Windows Store.
