IMG_3115.JPGYesterday Google released a Chromecast SDK and pretty quickly the developer of AllCast has updated the app to include Chromecasting support. With the updated Androi app you can stream content to a Chromecast dongle plugged in to your TV just as you can to a DLNA server. The update also improves metadata to DLNA devices, improved photo support and you now get better battery life using YouTube or Netflix is AllCast is running.

There is a trial version with a 60 seconds preview limit in the Google Play Store and the full version costs £3.05 as an in-app purchase.
