Lenovo make some great Windows devices, in fact the device I am typing this post on and do all my development on is a Lenovo Z500 Touch. At CES this week they have announced new tablets, ThinkPads and All-in-one PC. The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 is an 8 inch business focused tablet. Made out of aluminium the ThinkPad has an optional cover and has an 8.3 inch screen running at 1920×1200 and has an Intel Atom quad core processor, USB 3, LTE and runs Windows 8.1. The US price starts at $399.
One of the other interesting device is a 10 inch MIIX 3 which has a detachable keyboard so you can use it as a traditional laptop or a tablet. It weighs 1.3lbs, is 0.36 inches thick and has a 1920×1200 multi-touch display and is powered by a quad core Intel Atom processor. There is also an 11 inch version which has the same design but powered by an Intel Core i5 processor.
Also announced is the A740 All-in-one with a 27 inch display, 2560×1440 display running Windows 8.1, price start at $1499 and will be available later this year.
A little more cost effective is the C560 a 23 inch all-in-one running 1920×1080 with prices starting at $659.
On the Ultrabook front is a new X1 Carbon. It has a 14 inch display made with Carbon Fibre and weights 2.8lbs. It has a touch display, 9 hours battery life and will start at $1299.
Overall a pretty impressive set of devices from one of one of the best PC OEMS.
